Selection process –
Preliminary Examination:
This is an online objective test that assesses candidates’ English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability skills.
It consists of multiple-choice questions.
Candidates must qualify in this phase to move on to the next stage.
Main Examination:
This is also an online objective test, which assesses candidates’ knowledge in various subjects including General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
It may also include a test of the local language.
Candidates who perform well in the Main Examination will be shortlisted for the next phase.
Language Proficiency Test:
Candidates who qualify for the Main Examination may have to undergo a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
In this test, candidates’ proficiency in the local language of the state/UT for which they are applying will be evaluated.
The final selection is based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination and performance in the LPT.
